At Zhangir Khan University, a meeting was held with scientist and educator Dina Mendaliyeva.
The event, held at the Industrial-Technological Institute, was organized within the framework of the work plan of the “Chemist” scientific club of the “Chemical Engineering and Processes” educational programs. The event was attended by university faculty and students, as well as alumni from different years. First, the biography, scientific and pedagogical activities, and distinguished career of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Dina Mendaliyeva, who is celebrating her 80th birthday, were presented. A congratulatory speech was delivered by the Director of the Industrial-Technological Institute, Askar Bakushev, who congratulated the honoree and presented a congratulatory letter from the Chairman of the Board and University Rector, A. Nametov. Afterwards, the invited guests took the floor, delivering speeches and expressing their sincere wishes.
D. Mendaliyeva initiated the establishment of the “Chemical Engineering and Processes” educational program at Zhangir Khan University and made a significant contribution to the training of qualified personnel. During the meeting, her contribution to the development of science, main research directions, professional achievements, and merits in mentoring students were highlighted. The purpose of the meeting was to increase students’ interest in science and to promote the importance of perseverance and diligence in the scientific field. In turn, the scientist expressed her gratitude to the staff of the Industrial-Technological Institute for organizing the event.
