Athletes from Zhangir khan University won prizes at the Republican tournament «Rural Games» held in Astana.
The tournament brought together athletes from across the country to compete in various sports, including futsal, asyk atu, archery, tug of war, Kazakh wrestling, and langi.
Students from WKATU, who represented the region in two disciplines, did not leave without awards. The university team — consisting of Alinur Amangeldiev, Kulen Kulshetovich, Arman Abdulla, Shapagat Tleugali, Bekarys Oryngali, and Yerkinbek Zhetibayev — won the main prize in tug of war, defeating all other teams.
In Kazakh wrestling, university athlete Sultanbek Kayyrmukhanbet earned an honorable third place.
