In May, an educational event on “Friendly people-friendly languages” was organized by foreign languages teachers of the Languages Development Center. A group of the 1st year students from Uzbekistan took part in this event. Within the framework of this event, foreign students were able to demonstrate the language, culture and traditions of each nation. Language is the key to the history, culture and civilization of the people, the pillar of friendship, unity and harmony between peoples.
The purpose of the event is to encourage students to learn the state language and other languages, to expand the social and communicative functions of the language, to develop language skills, to activate and expand knowledge of the English language, to cultivate love and interest in languages, tolerance, friendship and mutual understanding. During the event, foreign students, based on their thoughts, spoke about the importance of the English language and culture.Students performed songs and poems in Kazakh, Russian, English, and Uzbek languages. Igitaliyev Shakhbozbek, Umarova Alina, Kurbonaliyev Sardorbek, Kamolkhonov Sherzod, Mukhsinbayev Azizbek, Utayev Abdinaib, Bahodirov Nurillo, Utkirov Mehriddin took an active part in this event.
