On May 17-18, the event “Job Fair” was organized at Zhangir Khan university. The first deputy akim of the WKR Arman Utegulov and the chairman of the board-rector of the university Askar Nametov took part in the round table within the framework of the fair.
The event, organized by the «Career and business partnership» center, provided an opportunity for a face-to-face meeting of graduate students with representatives of government agencies and business facilities in order to promote employment. Various programs were explained, the procedure for working in organizations-enterprises, master classes were held, and vacancies were presented.
Speaking at a round table with employers, the rector of the university A. Nametov noted that the university pays great attention to the training of high-quality specialists who are in demand on the labor market. – Today’s meeting is attended by leaders of large companies that promote employment and internships for students. Employment of graduates is an important issue, so it is necessary to discuss this issue in detail, – said Askar Myrzakhmetovich.
The first deputy akim of the region A. Utegulov, who expressed gratitude to the staff of the Zhangir Khan university, concerned about the future of youth, did not hide the fact that the shortage of qualified personnel is an urgent problem. – Many famous people studied within the walls of the West Kazakhstan agrarian technical university, whose history goes into depth. We are aware of the systematic work carried out in the fundamental educational institution. Especially at the university work is well organized to combine theory and practice, – said Arman Karimovich.
Director of the center for «Careers and business partnerships» Zamzagul Sultanova made a presentation on the current situation with the employment of WKATU graduates. The heads of the companies-employers, who in most cases intend to leave the work of students undergoing internships, thanked the university management for their cooperation.
At the end of the event, a number of heads of institutions cooperating with Zhangir Khan university were awarded a «letter of thanks» from the rector.
