In honor of the 60th anniversary of Zhangir Khan University, a volleyball tournament was held on March 10-11 among the national teams of students of Western regional universities and STS.
More than 100 players in 8 teams took part in the competitions organized by the Zhangir Khan Sports Club. In particular, “West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College”, “Higher Pedagogical College named after Zh. Dosmukhamedov”, “regional specialized children’s and youth school of the Olympic Reserve” (two teams), “West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology”, “Humanitarian and Technical College”, “KazIITU College” and “West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University”.
According to the results of the tournament, which lasted two days, the first place was won by the ZKATU team. Team player Ivan Vizgalin also became the “best player”. Other prize-winners and winners were awarded with diplomas and cups, memorable prizes.
