The IV International olympiad on financial security was held in Sochi (Russia) from september 30 to october 5 this year. 600 best students from 36 countries of the world took part in it.
The Olympiad program consisted of more than 60 different events, including lectures, interactive workshops, master classes, panel discussions, quizzes, contests, cultural and sports competitions. The main goal is to increase the information, financial and legal literacy of the younger generation, search for talented youth, and stimulate the development of research skills in the field of financial security.
In this international tournament, the Kazakh team took the III place in the financial investigation competitions organized in the «Графус» training system. Among the team members were 4th year students of Zhangir khan university majoring in «Finance» Dana Abdulshayeva and Kamshat Amanzhol. Dana Abdulshayeva also became a prize-winner in the discipline «Economics» and was awarded a diploma of the II degree.
Recall that this year the Agency for financial monitoring of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Academy of Law enforcement agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a three–stage olympiad «International Olympiad on Financial Security – 2024». As a result of the second stage D.Abdullayeva, who took the first place and K.Amanzhol, who took the second place, won a ticket to the final stage of the Olympic games in Sochi (Russia).
