Anti-terrorist training with the staff of the WKAU

Employees of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement of the university, as well as the management and teaching staff of the university listened to an online lecture through the ZOOM platform.

The head of the Security and Law Enforcement Department of WKAU Zhanbolat Musadiyev explained the purpose of the lesson and introduced the guests.

– It is known that in May of this year there was a shooting at a school in Kazan, and then in September there was an armed attack at Perm State University. As a result of both incidents, students were killed and several people were injured. At today’s event, the invited guests will explain the principles of preventing such accidents and actions in case of accidents,” he said.

First of all, the senior operative of the Department for Countering Extremism of the DP of the West Kazakhstan Region, Artem Gusev, explained the principles of strengthening law enforcement measures in the buildings of the university, assessing incidents, prompt and responsible decision-making in such cases. Videos on the topic were also presented.

The representative of the Anti-terrorist center of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the West Kazakhstan Region spoke about the need to pay attention to the principles and actions to save people in such cases. He also added that it would not be superfluous to conduct practical lectures on evacuation.

According to the head of the Security and law enforcement Department of the WKAU Zhanbolat Nagmetullaevich, the university’s surveillance cameras will be connected to the operational management center of the regional Police Department. As a result, law enforcement officers of the region will be able to monitor the emergency situation together with the security service of the university.
