In the University, Zhangir Khan held a round table under the heading «Ата Заңым – азаттығымның айғағы».
The event, organized on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was attended by vice-rector of the university Akylbek Sultanov, deputy head of the public development department of the West Kazakhstan region Gulzhanar Shukeeva, faculty and students. The round table was held by the teacher, master Mukhtar Suleimenov.
The university’s vice-rector for educational and social work, A.Sultanov, stressed that constitution day is a significant holiday that has become the foundation of the rights and freedoms, unity and harmony of the people of Kazakhstan. The deputy head of the department of public development of the region, G.Shukeeva, congratulated the university staff on behalf of the akim of the region and expressed gratitude to the organizers of the round table. In her speech, she also noted the importance of the basic law and its role in the development of society. Further reports on the significance of the historical document were heard, after which the participants shared their opinions.
