The appointment
A reserve officer who has completed a course of military training in the specialty "Organization of communications in the Ground Forces" is intended to serve in peacetime and wartime in communications units and subunits, in primary officer positions
Qualification Requirements
The reserve officer must:
  •  have a high level of tactical, tactical-special, fire and technical training;
  •  have solid knowledge of basic and specialized disciplines, skills in applying this knowledge in practice;
  •  to be able to maintain high combat and mobilization readiness of the unit, firm military discipline and statutory order, to use the achievements of military pedagogy and psychology in the training and education of subordinates.
As a result of the study, the student must
To know:
  • the basics of organizing communications in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the organizational structure, the basics of the combat use of communications units in combat and operations;
  • the basics of managing the system, communications units in combined arms units and units;
  • requirements, operating rules and the principle of operation of telephone and telegraph communication devices;
  • fundamentals of telephone and telegraph communication, modern means of switching.
Be able to:
  • manage the communications system of the combined arms subdivision and unit;
  • carry out measures to ensure the safety of communication on communication lines;
  • to carry out safety measures when working on switching equipment and communication network control.
Develop skills:
  • in organizing and carrying out maintenance and repair of fixed communication facilities;
  • in the management of the communications system of the combined arms unit.
