Over the years, she has held a number of responsible positions, including Head of the Department of Economics and Enterprise Management, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Director of the Institute of Economics, IT and Professional Education, Head of the Department of Science, and Head of the Center for Technological Development.
Author of more than 200 scientific and methodological publications, including 10 monographs and over 150 scientific articles, 7 of which were published in Scopus-indexed international journals. Her Hirsch Index (Scopus) is 6.
She is the leader and participant of numerous research and grant projects, including the applied study “Economic Assessment of the Impact of Wild Animal (Saiga) Populations on Agriculture and Ways to Reduce Damage,” which has practical importance for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector.
For her high professionalism, initiative, and significant contribution to the development of national science and higher education, Aigul Mamaevna Kazambayeva has been awarded several prestigious state and departmental honors, including: “Best Worker in the Field of Agriculture” (2025), “Best Manager in Higher and Postgraduate Education” (2023), “For Merits in the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (2019), “Best University Teacher” (2014), “Honored Worker of Education” (2010), and “Excellent Worker of the University” (2013).
