Deputy Chairman of the Board-Rector, Vice-Rector for Science. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Over the years, he has worked as a Junior Researcher at the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding of KazNAU; Head of the Laboratory for Livestock Production Technology and Feed Analysis at KazNAU (Almaty); Expert and later Head of a Department at the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Patent Office) (Astana); Manager for Scientific and Technical Activity Analysis at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan “KazAgroInnovation” (Astana); Chairman of the Board of the Ministry of Agriculture JSC “Republican Center for Livestock Breeding ‘Asyl Tulik’” (Astana); and Acting General Director of the LLP “Scientific and Innovation Center for Animal Husbandry” (Astana).
Author of more than 120 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 3 textbooks, 12 recommendations, over 15 articles indexed in Web of Science and Scopus databases, as well as 33 patents (including 18 for breeding achievements). Research interests include dairy and beef cattle breeding, horse breeding, animal breeding, selection, genetics, and biotechnology.
He serves as the scientific supervisor and performer of more than 20 research projects funded through program-targeted and grant-based financing.
Recipient of the medals “25 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and “30 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”; badges of honor “Excellence in Agriculture,” “For Contribution to the Development of Science,” “For Impeccable Service in the Protection of Wildlife”; Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and trade union badges “Labor Glory” of I, II, and III degrees from the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
