Conferences and olympiads
In order to encourage students to engage in scientific research and academic activities, conferences, competitions, Olympiads, and exhibitions of students’ scientific works are held annually at the university. Students write articles, essays, and present reports at scientific conferences and seminars.
Students actively participate in national and international scientific competitions, hackathons and forums. University students consistently demonstrate high results, confirming the high level of scientific and project work in various fields, from forest resources to digital technologies.
The competitions and scientific projects cover a wide range of disciplines, including veterinary science, agrotechnology, information technology, as well as areas of sustainable development and innovation. Participants demonstrate not only theoretical preparedness but also practical application of knowledge, developing solutions that address the contemporary challenges of the economy and science. As a result of their participation in these competitions, students and teams achieve significant accomplishments, earning diplomas, certificates, and recommendations for further steps in their academic and professional careers.
Students of our university participate annually in Olympiads, festivals, and forums held in Kazakhstan and abroad (Russia).
Continuing the tradition of scientific achievements, students of our university also actively participate in olympiads held at the national and international levels. These events serve as an important platform for demonstrating knowledge and skills in various fields of science and technology. Participation in olympiads allows students not only to test and deepen their theoretical knowledge but also to gain practical experience by interacting with colleagues and experts from other educational institutions and countries.

The best students and master’s students who actively participate in scientific research are awarded certificates or diplomas.
In 2025, university students actively published their research in scientific journals and collections, both in national and international publications. A total of more than 250 scientific articles were published.
These achievements were the result not only of scientific work but also of the active participation of students in various competitions that stimulate their research activities and contribute to expanding their scientific horizons.
Among the notable achievements are diplomas of various degrees at national research competitions, recognition at international forums and hackathons, as well as successful projects in the fields of information technology and innovation.
