Objects of research, development or design: disinfectants, natural substances and compounds, nonspecific immunity, antiseptics
The purpose of the project / program: The study of antiseptic properties based on the effects of substances and compounds and the determination of their effectiveness in disinfection, care and nursing, surgical and obstetric diseases of animals.
1. Determination of antimicrobial properties of the drug based on ingredients and compounds and determination of optimal conditions for obtaining a complex drug.
1.1. Study of antimicrobial properties in laboratory conditions.
1.2. Study of antimicrobial properties in industrial conditions (premises, biological facilities, sanitary and hygienic facilities).
1.3. Study of their effects on the body by biological objects (toxic, allergic condition, accumulation in the body).
1.4. Assessment of the optimal consequences of the occurrence of substances and the production of compounds for a complex preparation and comparative characteristics with permanent antiseptic and disinfectants.
2. Determination of immunostimulating and wound healing properties of a complex preparation based on substances and compounds.
2.1. The study of an immunostimulating drug in laboratory animals (humoral and cellular factors of nonspecific immunity).
2.2. The study of wound healing drugs on laboratory animals (purification and regeneration).
2.3. Study of the effectiveness of actions in surgical injuries of animals (aseptic and purulent wounds).
2.4. Study of measures to ensure the effectiveness of obstetric diseases in animals (endometritis, mastitis, vaginitis).
3. Development of technology for the manufacture, storage and use of drugs as an antiseptic.
As a result of the conducted research, it was established that natural antiseptics exhibit pronounced antibacterial activity, but only at low concentrations of microorganisms (up to 500 million CFU/cm³). With an increase in microbial load, the effectiveness of individual natural antiseptics decreases. However, complex formulations based on natural components — Shozan, Prozan, and Shuprozan — maintain their antibacterial activity even at higher levels of microbial load (1–2 billion CFU/cm³), making them comparable in effectiveness to traditional agents such as 70% ethanol and 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Furthermore, studies on toxicological and allergenic properties have shown that classical antiseptics can cause toxic, cumulative, and allergic effects in laboratory animals. In contrast, Shozan, Prozan, and Shuprozan did not exhibit such negative effects, indicating their high biological safety.
Thus, the results confirm that these complex preparations of natural origin not only possess high antibacterial activity but are also safe for use, which broadens the possibilities for their application in veterinary practice for the prevention and treatment of infectious processes.
A multicomponent natural drug with a broad antiseptic effect, cheap and easily produced in production and laboratory conditions, will be presented.
A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of a natural drug with traditional drugs of chemical and non-chemical origin will be presented.
A technology for the manufacture, storage and use of the drug as an antiseptic will be developed
