Zhangir khan university hosted the “Sports student volleyball league among female students of Western regional universities”.
The two-day competition was attended by the teams of Aktobe regional university named after A. Zhubanov, Caspian university of technology and engineering named after Sh.Yesenov, West Kazakhstan university named after M. Utemisov, West Kazakhstan university of innovation and technology and Zhangir khan agrarian and technical university.
As a result of the competition, the first place was won by the women’s team of Yessenov university from Aktau. The second and third places were shared by the hosts of Zhangir khan university and the girls of Zhubanov university from Aktobe.
Another good news is that the team of Zhangir khan university took the second place in the sports student league among men’s teams of Western regional universities, which was held at Atyrau university named after H. Dosmukhamedov.
The winners of the I and II places of the sports student league received a ticket to the final games in Astana.
