Zhangir khan university hosted a press conference on the topic «Science and innovation – the mechanism for the development of the country’s economy».
It was attended by the chairman of the board-rector of the university Askar Nametov, vice-rectors, scientists, owners of farms where breeding work was carried out in the scientific direction, representatives of the media.
The rector of the university Askar Nametov, made a report at the meeting, who spoke about the work done and specific projects in the field of science and higher education, their advantages for the development of the agricultural sector and the promotion of the country’s economy, about the results. According to the rector, university scientists take part in the scientific solution of topical issues in the country, such as water conservation, irrigation of pasture lands, creation of efficient and environmentally friendly livestock production, utilization of sheep wool.
In his report, the rector noted that in order to form the professional competencies and skills of future specialists, taking into account the economic changes in the country, the university has made changes in the field of education both in terms of personnel training and in terms of personnel training.
At the press conference, journalists’ questions were answered and additional information on scientific projects was provided.
