Center of Ruhani Zhangyru

The «Rukhani zhangyru» сenter takes its history from the departments of social sciences, social and humanitarian disciplines. From 2009 to 2020, the Department of «History of Kazakhstan and Philosophy» was headed by Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, аssociate Professor Esengalieva V. A.According to the results of the 2009-2010, 2011-2012 academic years, the department took the III place in educational, methodical, scientific and educational work.According to the results of the 2014-2015, 2015-2016 academic years, the department has constantly occupied the first place in educational, methodical, scientific and educational work.

In order to implement the main ideas of the program article «A look into the future: modernization of public consciousness». Since April 2018, the project center “Rukhani zhangyru” has been working at the Department of «History of Kazakhstan and SGP».

Since the 2018-2019 academic year, the Department of «History of Kazakhstan and SGP” has been renamed the center «Rukhani Zhangyru». The purpose of the center is to promote the main directions of the «Rukhani Zhangyru» program, the formation of national identity, openness of consciousness, education of competitiveness, pragmatism, and the desire for knowledge among students. This mission is carried out by the «Rukhani zhangyru» center.

The project «Historical toponomics of the West Kazakhstan region» together with L. Gumilev ENU was attended by teachers of the center «Rukhani Zhangyru» Balzhanova G. Zh., Zhardemova A. A., who in 2019 conducted research work as part of an ethnographic expedition in Baiterek, Burlinsky, Terektinsky districts. As a result of the project, the book «historical toponymy of some districts of the West Kazakhstan region» was published.

Also, teachers of the center «Rukhani zhangyru» Galieva Zh. S., Sarkulova G. S. took part in the educational expedition «Khan Dam», dedicated to the study of the Khan dam, built in the summer Horde of Zhangir Khan, located on the border of the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the expedition, the album «Khan’s Dam – an open-air museum exhibit» was released in three languages. Zhangir Khan’s album contains materials related to the history of the construction of the Khan Dam, photographs of nature and historical and cultural objects along the expedition route.Collected materials related to the history of the construction of the “Khan dam”, photographs of nature and historical and cultural objects along the route of the expedition.

In December 2019years, together with the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service affairs and anti-corruption in the West Kazakhstan region, the university management opened a project office «Sanaly urpak» at the «Rukhani zhangyru» center. The purpose of the project office is to form students anti-corruption qualities. At the same time, many events are held at the educational institution. There are «Clean Session» promotions, various conferences and round tables, forums.

The Women’s Club «Fatima» works under the guidance of the teachers of the center. The Fatima Girls’ Club organizes cultural and educational events among female students. The historical and local lore circle «Atameken» was also created to improve the historical and cognitive thinking of students.

In order to develop patriotic feelings for the native land, magnetic albums on the themes «Akzhayyk with a deep history» and «Historical, cultural and natural heritage of the West Kazakhstan region» have been prepared.

The «Rukhani zhangyru сenter» actively cooperates with local executive bodies, public organizations and associations, conducts a lot of ideological work among students.Since June 2022, the director of the Rukhani zhangyru Center has been appointed senior lecturer, Master of Sociology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, doctoral student of Marmara University (Republic of Turkey) A.M. Seraly.
