A mass event «Nauryz-duman» was held at Zhangir khan university.
The festive event dedicated to the Nauryz holiday was attended by teachers and staff of the university, students and residents of the village of Zachagansk. Those gathered for the holiday congratulated each other on the Nauryz holiday according to the traditions of the kazakh people. Veterans and teachers, young people in national costumes decorated the holiday.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, chairman of the board-rector of Zhangir khan university Askar Nametov noted the importance of the decade of «Наурызнама», which began with the Koris ait.
The vocal ensemble «Тұмарым», the national dance ensemble «Ерке-нұр» the ensemble of national instruments «Нарын сазы» performed in the festive concert program and theatrical performances were organized.
The participants also took part in national games: tug of war, asyk ata, arm wrestling, togyzkumalak.We visited an exhibition of national products prepared by craftsmen.
