On May 16, the city open mini-football tournament finished that dedicated to the 80th anniversary of sports veteran Mathias Khamitov. The participants of the solemn meeting congratulated the hero of the day and noted his great contribution to the development of the sports industry.
The results of the competition were also announced. At the event among veterans and football players, the first place was taken by the team “Atyrau”, the second place was taken by the team “Dostar”, and the third place was taken by the team “Galaction”. The winners were awarded cups, medals and diplomas of the Uralsk Sports Club. The names of the defender, attacker, batsman, goalkeeper, and player who showed the best results in the game were also known.
