Higher school «Аnimal husbandry and bioresources»

The Higher school “Animal husbandry and bioresources” was organized in October 2021 by combining the 2 higher schools: “Technology for the production of livestock products” and “Ecology and bioresources”. Head of the Higher school – Candidate of agricultural sciences, acting associate professor Shukurov M.Zh.

Higher School of Animal husbandry and bioresources trains bachelors and masters in the following specialties: 6B08200/7M08200 – “Technology for the production of livestock products”, 6B05200/7M05200/210/-“Industrial ecology”, 6B08400/7M08400/410 – “Aquaculture and aquatic biological resources”, 6B08302 – “Hunting and fur farming”, as well as the training of doctors (PhD) in OP 8D08200 – “Technology for the production of livestock products.”

Pedagogical and scientific activities are carried out by 4 Doctors of science, 11 Candidates of science, 5 PhD doctors and 8 Masters. The team of the Higher school implemented scientific projects of the PCF of the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Fund of the Education and Science Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a result of which scientific articles, monographs were published, patents for inventions were obtained and introduced into production. Intra-breed types of the Kazakh white-headed breed of cattle, Akzhaik meat and wool breed of sheep, a unique collection of sturgeon fish in artificial conditions and a model apiary for growing bees have been created. Teaching-methodical and teaching aids have been developed, which have been tested and are widely used in the educational process. Every year, students of the above-mentioned specialties participate in the republican subject olympiad and the scientific competition of student works.

The scientific and pedagogical potential of higher education makes it possible to train a thinking, creative, well-mannered, mature specialist who is able to independently make reasonable decisions, competitive, and in high demand among employers of domestic and foreign companies.
