The Republic of Kazakhstan is a single state in the presidential form of government. According to the Constitution, Kazakhstan will establish itself as a democratic, secular, legal and social state, the main values of which are man, his life, rights and freedoms.

According to the administrative and territorial structure, the country consists of 14 regions and 3 cities of republican significance (Astana, Almaty and Shymkent).

The main exported goods are the mining, fuel and energy, metallurgical and chemical industries, as well as the grain industry.

Kazakhstan makes a great contribution to strengthening the stability of the region and the world. This is evidenced by Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the OSCE and the holding of the summit of this authoritative international organization in Astana in December 2010. The launch and development of the CICA project, the Asian equivalent of the OSCE, has become an important initiative of the country. Kazakhstan’s creative activity as Chairman of the OIC, the leading Organization of the Islamic world, has also received a positive assessment.

Our country is recognized as a leader in the global movement against the core. Kazakhstan’s election to the UN Security Council in 2017-2018 was an international recognition of its active role in solving the most important global problems of peace and security.

Sustainable growth in all sectors of the economy, international recognition, and political stability are becoming the basis for the prosperity of modern Kazakh society. Kazakhstan is a country that preserves its cultural traditions, strives for the future and successfully implements a huge creative potential in the modern world.
