Based on “Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University” there is an accredited Testing center, which includes 3 laboratories:
– chemical analysis laboratory;
– laboratory of zootechnical analysis;
– laboratory of biotechnology and diagnostics of infectious diseases.
The testing center is accredited in the accreditation system of the Republic of Kazakhstan for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO / IEC 17025-2019 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” no. KZ.T.09.E0858 dated March 15, 2022. Currently, the process of expanding the scope of accreditation is underway.
The chemical analysis laboratory provides services in the following areas:
– agrochemical analysis of soils and ground;
– chemical analysis of water (surface, underground, etc.);
– analysis of atmospheric air and industrial emissions into the atmosphere;
– analysis of meat, meat, fish, milk and dairy products, and grain.
Laboratory of zootechnical analysis provides services for analyzing farm animal feed (determination of raw fiber, moisture, feed units, etc.).
The laboratory of biotechnology and diagnostics of infectious diseases provides the following services:
– DNA certification of cattle and horses;
– establishing the origin of the animal in court proceedings;
– COVID-19 diagnostics;
– morphological analysis of the blood of farm animals.
The Laboratory of Biotechnology and Diagnostics of Infectious Diseases has access to the Information Analytical System (IAS) for entering genotyping data for breeding farm animals, and is also an institutional member of the International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG) ID number is 5144509) for determining the genotypes of cattle and horses by the STR method based on microsatellite loci and has Rank 1, which indicates that the laboratory conducts genotyping of cattle and horses with 98-100% accuracy (2021, 2023).
The laboratory has a permit to work with microorganisms and helminths of the II-IV pathogenicity groups (No. KZ25VMY00001957 dated 08/18/2020).
