Social package

Applicants to higher education in the group of educational programs of the Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University have the following social opportunities:

• Become the owner of a state educational grant. To do this, do not miss the opportunity to take part in the competition, gaining more than 50 points during the UNT, including 5 points for each subject.
• Participation in the competition for educational grants announced by local executive bodies. Every year 35-40 applicants become holders of educational grants allocated by the akimats of West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Atyrau and Mangistau regions.
• Priority of using the rural quota for citizens from rural youth: 70% of the total number of grants for groups of educational programs are provided on a competitive basis, and the remaining 30% of grants are provided only to citizens from rural areas.
• Become the owner of a state educational grant according to special quotas: persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, disabled persons of the first and second groups, disabled since childhood, disabled children, orphans and children left without parental care, as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have lost their parents or left without parental care until reaching the age of majority, persons equated to the participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War. The competition is held according to the approved quotas of the total amount of the approved state educational order between the indicated categories.

Participation in the competition for university grants:

• holders of the sign “Altyn belgi” – the amount of the grant is not limited;
• winners and prize-winners of international, republican, interregional sports competitions, creative contests – 10 places;
• social benefits: orphans and children left without parental care, children from incomplete large families – 10 places.

For admission on a paid basis, the following discounts on tuition fees are provided:

• Applicants who scored more than 80 points during the UNT – 15%;
• Applicants who scored more than 65-80 points during the UNT – 10%
