As part of the implementation of the grant program «Communications between Universities of the USA and Kazakhstan» (UniLinks), Zhangir Khan agrarian and technical university won a grant from the Eurasia foundation for the project «Improving the system of commercialization and transfer of research results».
During the implementation of this project, substantive interaction will be achieved with Rutgers university (Rutgers university, the US state research university, the largest higher education institution in the state of New Jersey), through jointly developed action plans, bilateral trainings, as well as facilitating interaction between scientists.
The main goal of the project is to increase the potential for commercialization of research results to improve administrative, technical and financial processes, as well as the formation of an effective innovation ecosystem based on sustainable american-kazakh cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Thus, as noted by the heads of the technology commercialization and agrotech hub office Gulshat Ayesheva and Yerasyl Dulatbai, as a result of the project, the competence of Zhangir khan university scientists in the field of technology commercialization and intellectual property management, as well as technological marketing and promotion of innovative technologies (products) will be increased. The management of technology commercialization at the university will be improved based on the development of successful American experience.
