In the project Office AGROTECH HUB on the basis of the university there was an exhibition “Assessment of the breed value of horses. A training course on the topic “Technology of horse breeding” is being held.
In addition to western Kazakhstan, specialists from Atyrau and Aktobe regions who are engaged in horse breeding took part in the course.
Doctor of agricultural sciences, academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nabidolla Kikebayev, scientists of the Republican horse Chamber of Aktobe gave lectures to the participants of the course on the breeding horses preservation, conducting genetic research, sorting.
In addition, during the course, practical classes were held, during which participants visited the farms “Akbota” and “Ryszhan” of the Terektinsky district, the testing center for scientific research at the university. The 36-hour course which started on May 11, will be completed on the 15th day and participants will be interviewed and issued special certificates.
General horse breeding is one of the areas of the AGROTECH HUB Project Office on the basis of Zhangir Khan University.
