The winter sports contest “Densaulyq-2022” among the teaching staff and staff has started at Zhangir Khan University.
The purpose of the annual traditional sports event is to promote a healthy lifestyle through physical culture and sports; to improve the sports skills of teachers and staff. In general, this educational institution pays great attention to the development of mass sports. The Winter Sports Contest was organized by the Zhangir Khan Sports Club.
Teams from five institutes and departments of the University take part in the competition. The teams compete in 12 sports: volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, pair table tennis, fun starts, air gun shooting, chess, darts, arm wrestling, ski relay, tug of war. In total, more than 300 people take part in the competitions in all sports.
During the Spartakiad, sanitary and quarantine requirements are fully observed. Following the results of the Spartakiad “Densaulyq-2022”, which will last for several days, the teams that won prizes in sports will be awarded with diplomas and prizes of the Zhangir Khan sports club.
