On November 10-11, Ural State Pedagogical University (Yekaterinburg, Russia) held international Olympiads among university students in order to identify gifted students, activate cognitive and scientific activities of students, strengthen the staff for science and education, establish contacts between universities.
Teams from Zhangir Khan ZKATU took part in the Olympiad in elementary computer science. Of these, students enrolled in the educational program “Information systems and Technologies” as part of: Kustanova Meiramgul (IS-12), Kamelov Nurlybek (IS-32), Temreshov Ali (IS-32) (supervisor Abuova Zhanargul Mukambetzhanovna) were awarded a diploma of the 3rd degree among 38 teams from different universities of the CIS countries.
