On the eve of October 25 – the Republic Day, there was a meeting of cadets with veterans in the «Military Department» of the university.
The guests of this evening were Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work Akylbek Uzakbayevich Sultanov, chairman of the public association «Veterans of the Soviet Army and Western Military Group in Germany» Karim Sabirovich Suleimenov, as well as our veterans teachers Maidan Kabatayevich Braliev and Baluash Bakishevich Traisov.
During the meeting, the veterans told the cadets about military life, how they served in Germany and Warsaw. The participants listened carefully to the interesting stories of those times. At the end of the evening the chairman of the public association «Veterans of the Soviet Army and Western military group in Germany» K.Suleimenov awarded guests with badges.
