Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University has completed training for teachers under the advanced training program “Blended learning at a university as a means of improving the quality of education in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection.”
This program was implemented within the framework of the project “Advanced Center for PhD students and young researchers in informatics” (ACeSYRI) Erasmus +. The author of the program is OV Nass, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Higher School “Information Technologies”.
The program was attended by the teaching staff, as well as practicing specialists in the field of information technology from more than 15 universities and colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan, Semey, Atyrau, Kostanay, Uralsk, Khromtau), Russian Federation (Moscow, Penza, Saratov).
During the training, the students got acquainted with the issues of organizing the educational process in the context of blended learning, determined the conditions for the effective implementation of blended learning in the system of higher and vocational education, mastered the pedagogical technologies of the digital generation and social media services in education, digital tools, training design and types of assessment in blended learning in educational institutions. Finally, the trainees prepared their own blended learning projects. The training was organized in an online format on the ocs.wkau.kz platform. The program received a wide response from the students, who will apply the acquired competencies in their practice.
