On April 28, teachers of the kazakh language of the Languages Development Center organized a literary evening dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev. The goal is to popularize the poetic talent of Zhambyl Zhabayev, instill in young people a sense of respect for the art of speech.
The name of Zhambyl Zhabayev, who glorified kazakh poetry, is widely known to the peoples of the whole world. Although Zhyrau Zhambyl did not know how to write, from childhood he was fond of dombra, memorized poetry, studied the art of Kazakh people word, and then became a famous poet of the country. The poet, who witnessed two eras, sang the whole reality of the life that he saw with his own eyes.
Students read excerpts from the poet’s poems and performed kyuis.
