On February 23, at the university was held a meeting with graduate students studying on a grant on employment for public service in rural settlements, organized by the «Career and Business Partnership Center». Its main purpose is to explain the employment opportunities of future graduates for public service in rural areas, to familiarize with changes in this direction.
The Head of the Civil Service Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the West Kazakhstan region Masimova Venera Narakhmetovna acquainted with the amendments made by the Agency to the Law on Civil Service. In accordance with these changes, the best graduates who have graduated from educational institutions on the basis of a state order will be appointed to vacant positions in the district center and in villages without competitive selection.
Rector of the University Nametov Askar Myrzakhmetovich in his speech noted that the above positive changes will contribute to stimulating qualified youth to public service, the return of young professionals to districts and rural regions, reducing the shortage of personnel in rural areas, and also he noted that, for his part, he will support students entering the civil service.
