The appointment
The military training of students in the specialty "Planning and organization of territorial defense" is aimed at developing the high, military and moral qualities of the trainees, which are necessary for a reserve officer to serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the correct and confident performance of functional duties as a platoon commander.
Qualification Requirements
The reserve officer must:
  • have a high level of tactical, tactical-special, fire and technical training;
  • have solid knowledge of basic and specialized disciplines, skills in applying this knowledge in practice;
  • to be able to maintain high combat and mobilization readiness of the unit, firm military discipline and statutory order, to use the achievements of military pedagogy and psychology in the training and education of subordinates.
As a result of the study, the student must
To know:
  • the main measures of territorial troops to protect the population and territories from threats and dangers arising in the conduct of hostilities, the principles of planning territorial defense measures;
  • the procedure for the operation of the control and warning system in emergency situations, as well as during the conduct of hostilities;
  • organization of preparation of civilian formations of territorial defense and the population for actions in emergencies in peacetime and wartime;
  • purpose, tactical and technical characteristics and general arrangement of weapons, purpose and combat capabilities of IFV weapons.
Be able to:
  • plan and organize the implementation of measures of territorial defense and civil protection;
  • to carry out measures for engineering, radiation and chemical protection of the population in the event of a threat and emergencies in peace and wartime;
  • be able to apply basic scientific and technical knowledge to solve theoretical and practical problems.
To develop skills:
  • in the organization of work in the unit of territorial troops to achieve the assigned tasks;
  • in the analysis of measures to prevent and eliminate emergencies at facilities;
  • in use, in carrying out maintenance, repair of IFV.
