The appointment
A reserve sergeant who has completed a course of military training in the specialty "Medium-power shortwave radio stations" is prepared for military service in peacetime and wartime in units and communication units.
Qualification Requirements
The reserve sergeant must:
  • have a high level of tactical, tactical-special, military-technical and general military training;
  • have solid knowledge of basic and specialized disciplines, skills of applying this knowledge in practice;
  • be able to maintain high combat and mobilization readiness of the unit, firm military discipline and statutory order.
As a result of the study, the student must
To know:
  • tactical and technical data, the composition of the material part, the general structure, structural diagrams of the studied equipment, as well as the physical processes of the main components of the equipment, its combat use, rules of operation and maintenance;
  • power supply systems for communication equipment, ensuring the safety of personnel, principles of remote control of military communications equipment;
  • rules and procedure for ensuring the grounding of equipment, equipment and means of communication;
  • the main guiding documents defining the organization and rules of operation, maintenance, storage and repair of medium-power radio stations.
Be able to:
  • bring weapons and military communications equipment ready for combat use, check and evaluate its technical condition;
  • carry out measures to ensure safety measures during operation, maintenance and repair of military communications equipment;
  • establish and provide communication using standard equipment, equipment and means of communication;
  • use the guidance and technical documentation correctly.
