A reserve sergeant who has completed a course of military training in the specialty "Field water supply" is intended to replace non-commissioned positions in the units of the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The reserve sergeant must:

• have a high level of tactical, tactical-special, military-technical and general military training;
• have solid knowledge of basic and specialized disciplines, skills of applying this knowledge in practice;
• be able to maintain high combat and mobilization readiness of the unit, firm military discipline and statutory order.

To know:

• conducting exploration of water sources and water availability of the area;
• classification, general arrangement of means of extraction, purification, desalination and storage of water;
• the sequence and content of the work of the commander of the field water supply department in preparation and during combat operations;
• the sequence of creating the necessary supplies of household drinking water, reagents, filtering materials, taking into account the nature of upcoming actions and water availability of the area.

Be able to:

• organize the execution of tasks and manage the departments of engineering troops for the equipment of field water supply points;
• equip access roads to the field water supply point;
• equip and mask a field water supply point;
• perform tasks on equipment of field water supply points on various water sources;
• organize storage, accounting, issuance and means of extraction, water purification.
